The Design Miami/Christian Liaigre temporary furniture showroom opens at 61 NE 40th Street, 10 am to 6 pm. If you like the Mercer Hotel in New York, you like Christian Liaigre. Expect lots of dark wood. The showroom will be open without appointment through Fri Dec 1, 10 am to 6 pm.

The 4141 NE Second Avenue art and design complex opens for the week. Dacra sponsored the installation of Craig Robins' Rirkrit Tiravanija piece "Untitled (Play Time)," a child's size version of Philip Johnson's Glass House. The building also houses the Vitra showroom and the Fratelli Lyon restaurant, and you'll actually be able to get in on Monday. Robins (Dacra) has also installed his restored Buckminster Fuller's Fly's Eye Dome in the Palm Lot, on NE 39th Street in the Design District.
