Brazilian artists are everywhere this year. The familiar Fortes Vilaca gallery, Booth B15, will be showing works by the most famous contemporary Brazilian artists, including Osgemeos, Los Carpinteros, Vik Muniz, Ernesto Neto, and Beatriz Milhazes. But Fortes Vilaca will also show the Brazilian artist Tiago Carneiro da Cunha, who is no relation to the Brazilian artist Alexandre da Cunha at the Thomas Dane Gallery and the CRG Gallery. The young Brazilian artist Cintia Marcelle has a clever brick and grass installation, "Utopic reserve, 2011," above, at Silvia Cintra + Box 4, Booth P05. In addition to Eduardo Berliner's the representational painting, below, Casa Triangulo, based in Sao Paulo, is showing the nonrepresentational "Trava Ciclope" by Assume Vivid Astro Focus, familiar to Miamians from the de la Cruz installation.
