Because this is Audi's Art of Progress pavilion, a five-story tall, 40,000 square foot place on what used to be the public parking lot north of the Eden Roc (hey, out of towners, it's Eden Roc, not Eden Rock, and the Audi tent is at the Eden Roc and not the Fontainebeau, next door). There's an art exhibit from the Rubell Family Collection, and the interiors are by the masterful Tom Dixon. The car? It's Audi's new A8, with a base price of $75,000, and $100,000 if you want the luxury package. Like a radio. Free and open to the public this week.
